Dr. Abdalla A. Alnajjar, President of the Arab
Science and Technology Foundation announced yesterday in a press
conference in Cairo the winners of the "Made in Arabia" contest. A
contest perceived by observers as the first and largest Arab
technological and industrial event which is designed for applying
start-up inventions in the real world.




Nine out of eleven countries took part in the two-day Cairo-based competition. Lebanon and Iraq abstained.




Project "Multifunction Door Joint" for Yassin
Bushrit ( FST ) and Abdullatif Bin Abdullah from Morocco came first. It is an
automatic joint that controls a door to prevent injuries for both
children and adults...
