The location for The 2008
World Championships was announced on May 3rd in Philadelphia; the
launch event of The North American City Chase Series. The exotic and
beautiful city of Marrakech, Morocco will be the Host City of The 3rd
City Chase World Championships, held from November 5th to November 9th
2008. Winning teams form Canada, USA, France, UK, Ireland, Spain,
Italy, Portugal, Germany, Australia, Hong-Kong and Singapore will be
competing in this international destination known for its mystique,
culture and heritage.
Marrakech is the 4th largest city in Morocco
after Casablanca, Rabat and Fez, and was known to early travelers as
"Morocco City." Like many North African and Middle Eastern cities,
Marrakech comprised both an old fortified city (the médina) and
an adjacent modern city (called Gueliz). The very strong welcoming
culture of the Moroccan people combine with this unique city will make

Please note:
- In order to represent your country in The City Chase World
Championships, at least ONE member of the two member team must be a
legal citizen, as documented by a current passport, of the country they
are representing. - The team must be comprised of the same two individuals who earned the entry.
- Any dispute relating to the determination of the country
which a competitor may represent in The World Championships shall be
resolved by The World City Chase Executive Board. - Details of full prize package to be released at a future date.
After 5 trips to Morocco in the last year, our reconnaissance team
is ready to received Chasers from around the World. “It will be the
most different and challenging City Chase ever”, says Martin Paquette ,
International Event Director. “The culture of Morocco is rich and very
welcoming; participants will want to come back to this wonderful
country but teams should be prepared for a culture shock… it is very
different than Europe” says Paquette. The event kicks off in Marrakech
on November 4th, and teams should be ready to experience an event of a
lifetime!
